I like living here alot- not everything is perfect but I get along with my neighbors and the rent isn't too bad compared to some other properties. To be frank the level of service shown by the maintenance staff and the two concierges Nat and Rhonda is out of this world, very personable people that really give a warm and welcoming environment to live in. Big S/O to Omari, Jose, Nat and Rhonda, keep it up. Will be renewing sooner than later
I lived here at Solaire over 3 years.l enjoyed living here & I liked the location as well easy to walk everywhere.I moved out this week. This building is not the same as it was before since they changed the new management the Assisstant property manager I think pretti is her name , she is very rude I don’t want to go in to the details. Just glad I moved out. I will miss living in this building.

Update 5/2023 - When we moved in, the building manager told us, in writing, we’d have pool access following summers since the pool here was being filled in for a courtyard due to construction of Solaire 8200 next door. In Summer 2022, we were permitted to go to the Solaire on Georgia’s pool. This summer we have not only been denied access to that pool but told we can’t have access to 8200. Thus I advise, Washington Property Company is not a trustworthy source for promised amenities. Lesson learned. Very disappointed. An additional frustration has been a new, unnecessarily complicated online parking registration system that we’ve been told will make our lives easier-but at a higher cost to us. We considered other nearby apartments and now I wish we would have chosen differently. These will be factors when our lease is up.
Have lived here for about 8 months now, a largely positive experience. Far better than my prior apartment complex in terms of amenities, maintenance staff, and unwanted critters (absolutely NO mice or bugs here-thankfully!). Have had a few minor maintenance issues and Omari has been professional, helpful, and quick to resolve them. It was, frankly, a challenge working with the leasing office when we first moved in (our original contract was wrong, the leasing agent we were working with left seemingly on short notice, on move-in day there were logistical issues getting our keys…) but since being here we’re quite happy. The parking garage feels safe, is clean, and the building cleaning staff does a great job too. If you are a light sleeper the noise from metro and CSX trains might not be for you, but we have gotten used to it, and proximity to public transport is ideal. We feel the building is solidly built and don’t often hear neighbors, and the business center offers computer use and printing which is helpful. There have been occasional issues with water pressure but attention from maintenance after reporting them has been timely. It is unfortunate that only Comcast services the building for high speed internet - would be ideal to have Verizon as an option too. Individual unit control of heat/AC is also ideal. We looked at a LOT of apartment options including 1155 Ripley, 1200 East West, and the Veridian-quite happy with our choice to live here overall.
I moved here recently and it has been a great experience. Specifically with Arissa J from the leasing office. She was patient, informative, timely, professional, and so helpful. If you're thinking of renting here, do it!
